The Lady Tigers softball team played in the Milan Tournament Saturday. Their first opponent was Norborne who jumped on the scoreboard with a 4-1 lead in the first and never looked back taking the 7-1 win. Lacey Fisher had 2 hits, with Aubrey Borgmeyer, Kynleigh White, Haley Mcnamar and Alexa Borgmeyer also having hits. Alexa Borgmeyer took the loss striking out 9.

Things went better in the 2nd game with Novinger. Brashear scored 2 runs in each of the first 3 innings to claim a 6-2 win. Aubry Borgmeyer, Kynleigh White, and Lacey Fisher had 2 hits each with Mackenzie Baker and Cassidy Althide also having hits. Cassidy Althide pitched, striking out 3.

North Shelby was the opponent for the 3rd game of the day. Neither team scored until North Shelby scored single runs in the 6th and 7th to win 2-0. Alexa Borgmeyer had 2 hits, with Aubrey Borgmeyer and Sierra Snyder also having hits. Alexa Borgmeyer struck out 15 in the losing effort.
